Egypt exports to UK record £447mn in H1

The Egyptian exports to UK have recorded £447 million (US$ 689.6 million) the first six months of 2015 versus £601 million at the same period of 2014.
According to official statistics, Egypt's exports to UK have reached £447 million within January-July 2015, dropping by 25.6%, in comparison to the same period of 2014. Meanwhile, Egypt's imports from UK have been increased by 6.3% during the first half of 2015.
Egypt has imported products worth £624 million within January-July 2015 compared to £587 million within the first half of 2014.
On other side, British exports to Middle East and North Africa have been jumped 15.3% within the first six months of 2015 as they recorded £12.64 billion opposed to £10.464 million at the same period of 2014.
In contrast, UK's imports from Middle East and North Africa's states have been declined by 17.6% registering £7.733 billion within January-July 2015 opposed to £9.930 million during the same period of 2014.
According to the statistics, Egypt was the seventh exporting state to UK in the Middle East and North Africa following Qatar whose exports worth £1.497 million, Algeria (£1.293 million), Saudi Arabia (£1.267 million), UAE (1.181 million), Israel (£684 million) and Kuwait (£495 million).
