Egypt's bourse gained 4.6 billion Egyptian pounds during midday session on Thursday powered by foreign buying appetite. Accordingly, Egypt's main index – EGX 30 also surged to hit above 7435 points. The Egyptian Exchange's indices were wavering in green notes during the midday session of Thursday. Indices The Benchmark EGX30 inched up by 1.28% to 7437.88 p; EGX20 also climbed by 1.40 % to 8894.81 p. Additionally, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 pushed up by 1.52% to 612 p. Price index EGX100 hiked by 1.76% to 1037.69 p. Furthermore, market capitalization registered EGP 459.139 billion, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English at 13:07 p.m. Cairo time (11:07 GMT). Turnovers & Trading Volumes The trading volume has recorded 181.423 million securities, with turnovers reached EGP 603.779 million, exchanged through 23.797 thousand transactions during Tuesday midday. Also during the midday session, 179 listed securities have been traded in; 31 fell, 134 advanced; while 14 keeping their previous levels. Investors' Activities The non-Arab foreigners were net buyers acquiring 17.66% of the total market, with a net equity of EGP 18.145 million, excluding the deals. On the contrary, Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers seizing 75.04% and 7.3% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 8.072 million and 10.072 million respectively, excluding the deals.
