Gold prices inch higher on October 7th

Spot gold prices increased on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 12:15 pm GMT by 0.26 per cent to $3,971.46 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,961.05 per ounce.
Meanwhile, US gold futures reached 0.37 per cent to $3,991.07 per ounce, up from Monday's closing price of $3,976.3.
