Egypt's Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met Huawei executives to discuss cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital health technologies aimed at improving diagnostics and hospital services, the Cabinet said on Saturday. The talks took place on the sidelines of the Huawei Connect 2025 Conference, where Abdel Ghaffar underlined the need to adopt advanced technologies to meet future healthcare demands. Discussions focused on using AI to analyse patient data for health mapping, track disease trends and enhance diagnostic accuracy, the statement said. The two sides also explored training programmes for medical and administrative staff to support Egypt's digital transformation in healthcare, helping improve efficiency and build smarter health systems.
