Egypt has launched a new round of investment land offerings across 20 newly built cities, aiming to attract private capital and create jobs, its ministry of housing said in a statement on Monday. The plots, available for a range of commercial and mixed-use activities, are being offered through the Investor Services Portal of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny said the move is part of efforts to ease procedures for investors while expanding economic opportunities in Egypt's fast-growing urban centres. The cities include New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, El Shorouk, Badr, 15th of May, 6th of October, Hadayek October, New Nubariya, 10th of Ramadan, New Fayoum, New Obour, New Minya, New Assiut, New Nasser, New Beni Suef, New Damietta, New Akhmem, New Qena, West Qena, and New Alamein. El-Sherbiny said the September offering covers a variety of land sizes and application systems to suit different types of investment projects. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
