Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 12 - 06 - 2025

Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Wednesday reviewed ongoing projects of the Ministry of Housing, with discussions focusing on new housing initiatives for Egyptians abroad and the progress of the Housing for All Egyptians initiative.
Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny said preparations are underway for the first offering under the second phase of the Your Home in Egypt initiative, launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whre 1,380 housing units will be offered during the period from August 30 to September 4, 2025, while unit selection will take place from September 20 to 25, 2025.
He added that the second phase will include nearly 3,000 residential, commercial, and administrative units across three offerings. The first offering will provide medium- and high-end units in projects including Diarna in New Cairo, New Alamein, New Minya, New Assiut, New Sohag, New Damietta, 15th of May City, and New Qena; Sakan Misr in New Alamein, New Mansoura, New Damietta, and New October; Dar Misr in Badr and New Borg El-Arab; Janna in New Mansoura and New Damietta; as well as Valley Towers in Hadayek October and Valley Towers East in New Obour.
The minister said payment periods extend up to 10 years, with discounts of up to 7 per cent, in response to requests from Egyptians abroad at the Sixth Conference for Egyptians Abroad. He stressed that the initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's directives to strengthen support for Egyptians abroad, offer incentives, and encourage their participation in national development.
El-Sherbiny also outlined progress on the presidential initiative Housing for All Egyptians, which has delivered housing units nationwide for low- and middle-income strata. He confirmed the government has extended the reservation deadline for the second offering of Housing for All Egyptians 7 by two weeks, now ending on September 14, 2025, to give applicants ample time to reserve units.
On land offerings, he said the ministry, through the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), is expanding residential plot offers in new cities to meet demand, stimulate growth, and enable citizens to build private homes in line with planning regulations.
