Egypt's Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny held a meeting to follow up on the progress of the Your Home in Egypt initiative for Egyptian expats, following the conclusion of the first phase, as well as updates on the long-running Beit El Watan programme, the Cabient said. El-Sherbiny reaffirmed the government's commitment—under direct guidance from the political leadership—to meet the needs of Egyptians abroad, including providing a range of incentives and privileges designed specifically for the diaspora. The Your Home in Egypt initiative offers residential units and villas in new urban communities such as New Alamein, the New Administrative Capital, New Mansoura, Madinaty, and other cities. The first phase was made available through a dedicated website developed for listing and reserving units. The minister stressed that housing options were tailored to accommodate the income segments of Egyptians living abroad, and that further phases of the programme are in preparation with additional incentives. El-Sherbiny directed officials to maintain ongoing communication with Egyptian expats, respond to inquiries regarding the two initiatives, and work to overcome any obstacles they face in the purchasing process.
