Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has held a meeting with the China National Chemical Engineering Group (CNCEC) Chairman Mo Dinggeon on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Plus (SCO+) Summit hosted in Tianjin. CNCEC Chairman expressed interest in expanding the company's investments in Egypt, particularly in agricultural fertilisers, citing Egypt's strategic location, trade agreements, and investment incentives. He further announced plans to visit Egypt in October to meet Madbouly and explore further opportunities with the government. Madbouly welcomed the company's plans, stressing Egypt's commitment to supporting foreign investors and facilitating CNCEC's projects, especially soda ash production. He added that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is closely following the company's investments in Egypt and hopes to see projects implemented soon. The prime minister said CNCEC's expansion in Egypt could also serve as a springboard into wider Middle Eastern and African markets. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
