Egypt's stock market (EGX) ended mixed on Monday, with the benchmark EGX30 index closing with no change at 35,810.57 points. The Shariah-compliant EGX33 slipped 0.01 per cent to 3,598.46 points, while the EGX35-LV advanced 0.47 per cent to 3,836.09 points. The EGX70 index for small and mid-cap shares gained 0.35 per cent to 10,745.61 points, and the broader EGX100 added 0.24 per cent to close at 14,375.5 points. Total market capitalisation stood at 2.49 trillion Egyptian pounds. Local investors and Arab traders were net buyers, with purchases worth 7.7 billion pounds and 244 million pounds, respectively. Non-Arab foreign investors were net sellers, offloading 7.9 billion pounds. Top gainers 1. Shares of A Capital Holding soared 20.00 per cent to close at the price of 4.200 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation climbed 20.00 per cent to trade at the price of 265.630 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of General Company for Land Reclamation, Development, and Reconstruction jumped 19.99 per cent to the purchasing price of 135.210 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers 1. Shares of Delta For Printing and Packaging plunged 19.99 per cent to close at 81.000 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Sues Canal Company for Technology Settling sank 10.37 per cent to close at 205.960 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of Sabaa International Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical dived 8.26 per cent to close at the price of 4.220 Egyptian pounds a share.
