Egypt's Agricultural Research Centre (ARC) head Adel Abdel Azim has received a high-level delegation from Chad's King Faisal University (KFU), led by University President Mohammed Bukhari Hassan, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in agricultural and research and and ways to benefit from Egypt's expertise in the field. Abdel Azim said the visit marks an important step towards strengthening Egypt–Chad collaboration in agricultural research, paving the way for signing a memorandum of understanding. He noted that discussions focused on showcasing ARC's research capacities and exploring applied research partnerships to promote sustainable agriculture and food security in the region. Hassan expressed the university's interest in working with ARC on training faculty members, joint postgraduate programmes, and collaborative research projects. He also proposed establishing a research farm at King Faisal University's Faculty of Agriculture under ARC experts' supervision to support education and practical training.
