Egypt is exploring ways to expand its pharmaceutical footprint in East Africa through closer cooperation with Rwanda and South Sudan, the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) said on Thursday. EDA Chairman Ali El-Ghamrawy held a virtual meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Rwanda, Hanan Shahin, and Ambassador to South Sudan, Hazem Fawzy, to discuss strengthening Egypt's presence in regional pharmaceutical markets. Talks focused on advancing technical collaboration and activating institutional channels between the EDA and relevant authorities in both countries. The effort aims to build on existing momentum and reinforce Egypt's position as a key player in Africa's pharmaceutical industry. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: Y.Yasser
