Egypt's General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Chairman Waleid Gamal El Dien met on Tuesday with Panama's Ambassador to Egypt, Ricardo Isaza to discuss cooperation in maritime transport, logistics, and targeted industrial sectors. The meeting focused on enhancing economic ties with Panama and exploring integration between the Panama Canal and SCZONE as global trade hubs. Gamal El Dien highlighted SCZONE's unique location, integrated ports and industrial zones, and its ambition to become a global logistics centre. Ambassador Isaza said Panama was keen to exchange expertise in port management and expand collaboration with SCZONE.
