Egypt's Minister of State for Military Production, Mohamed Salah El-Din Moustafa, on Monday inspected TUYA Technology, a ministry subsidiary specialising in digital solutions and information systems. The minster reviewed progress in digital transformation, particularly the company's advances in cybersecurity, which enable it to repel thousands of daily cyberattacks targeting military production networks. The minister stressed the importance of replacing traditional systems with modern technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. He urged continued development, project expansion, and staff training in cybersecurity and data protection. Formerly known as the Military Production Company for Information Systems, TUYA has played a key role in several national digital projects, including the food subsidy system, Universal Health Insurance, and the integration of natural gas fuelling stations and manpower networks.
