Egypt's Armed Forces' Information Systems Department and the Information Technology Institute (ITI) to prepare conscripts for the job market through partnerships with specialised IT companies, as per a Cabinet statement. This initiative is the first of its kind, offering a professional training grant that counts towards the conscription period. The training duration ranges from 4 to 9 months within the framework of the institute's training programmes (intensive and professional), aiming to equip conscripts in high-demand IT fields. The grant includes specialised training programmes in several areas, such as software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, information security, and electronic gaming. This initiative aims to train national technical talents to support digital transformation efforts and enhance the development of a sustainable digital economy.
