CBE: Egyptian pound closes high vs dollar on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound strengthened against the US dollar on Tuesday, June 16, 2025, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 50.0944 to the dollar, with a selling rate of EGP 50.1944. This marks an appreciation from Monday's rates of EGP 50.2322 for buying and EGP 50.3192 for selling.
