Egypt on Tuesday condemned what it described as a "heinous terrorist" attack that targeted a military site in the town of Inat in Niger, killing dozens. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed Egypt's solidarity—government and people—with Niger. It extended sincere condolences to the people of Niger and the victims' families, and wished the injured a swift recovery. The ministry reiterated Egypt's firm stance rejecting all forms of terrorism. It also reaffirmed Egypt's support for Niger during this critical time in confronting violence, terrorism, and extremism aimed at destabilising the country.
