President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday expressed Egypt's readiness to cooperate with the American business community and investors across all economic fields of mutual interest. He praised President Donald Trump's supportive approach to enhancing joint cooperation between Egyptian and US companies. During his meeting with Suzanne Clark, President of the US Chamber of Commerce, and John Christmann, Chairman of the US-Egypt Business Council and CEO of Apache Corporation, President Sisi said Egypt was looking forward to establishing an American industrial zone within the Suez Canal Economic Zone. He stressed that the Egyptian side was ready to offer all necessary facilities for US investors. Sisi highlighted that investing in Egypt represented a real opportunity, given the country's political and social stability. He added that Egyptians had shown resilience and awareness in enduring difficult but necessary economic reforms for the public good, especially amid the region's challenging political conditions and their consequences. Clark said the visit of the US business delegation underscored the strength and depth of the strategic alliance between Egypt and the United States. She noted that American companies operating in Egypt were achieving tangible success and contributing to the country's development. These firms, such as Apache, represented a model of successful bilateral cooperation, she said. President Sisi welcomed this view and expressed appreciation for Apache's success and its expansion of operations in Egypt. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
