The Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee welcomed a joint statement by the UK, France, and Canada urging an end to the war on Gaza and the immediate entry of humanitarian aid. The committee supported their rejection of Israeli military actions and warned that the blockade and weaponisation of aid have pushed Gaza to the brink of famine. It called on Israel to allow unhindered aid through all routes and rejected any limits or new models that politicise or militarise assistance. The committee condemned plans for forced displacement and land annexation, and stressed that Israel's actions violate international law. It noted that the UN and partners have delivered aid across Gaza since 2023 despite severe obstacles. The committee urged the international community to pressure Israel to lift the blockade and restore essential services. It called for a permanent ceasefire, full implementation of the January 19 truce and detainee deal, and reconstruction efforts under the Arab-Islamic plan and a Cairo conference. The committee reaffirmed support for a two-state solution and confirmed its participation in a UN peace conference in New York, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.
