Egypt's El-Khatib seeks to deepen economic ties with Russia

Egypt's Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib is leading the Egyptian delegation at the 15th session of the Egyptian-Russian Joint Committee in Moscow on May 13-14, as per a Cabinet statement.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral economic relations between the two countries across a range of trade, industrial, and investment sectors.
El-Khatib will hold talks with Russia's Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov to boost economic ties and review Egypt's investor-friendly policies aimed at facilitating international trade.
He will participate in an Egyptian-Russian roundtable meeting with company heads and Russian business representatives interested in investing in Egypt, presenting investment opportunities to attract more Russian investments in various sectors.
Additionally, the minister will participate in a workshop to promote the Russian Industrial Zone in Egypt, attended by many representatives from Russian companies.
