Trade volume between Egypt and Russia recorded $6.6 billion in 2024, up from $5.6 billion a year earlier, according to recent figures published by Egypt's state statistics agency, CAPMAS on Thursday. Egyptian exports to Russia also increased to $607 million from $524 million in 2023, while imports from Russia rose to $6 billion from $5 billion. Meanwhile, Russians' remittances from Egypt reached $71,000, compared to $138,000 in the previous fiscal year. Russian investments in Egypt recorded $91.5 million in the fiscal year 2023/2024, compared to $141.2 million in 2022/2023.
