Mainland China's CSI 300 index dropped by 0.13 per cent, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index reduced its gains to 0.12 per cent. India's Nifty 50 index increased by 0.22 per cent, while the BSE Sensex remained unchanged. In South Korea, the Kospi index rose by 0.63 per cent and the small-cap Kosdaq increased by 1.03 per cent.
