Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reaffirmed the country's commitment to advancing peace and security in the region. He stressed that Egypt has maintained a firm stance from the outset, asserting that justice and the establishment of a Palestinian state are the only viable solutions. He rejected any forced displacement of the Palestinian people under any pretext. Speaking at the 41st cultural symposium organised by the Armed Forces to mark Martyrs' Day and Veterans' Day, Sisi saluted the resilience of the Palestinian people. He pledged Egypt's continued support for their struggle to remain on their land. Sisi also highlighted the significance of Martyrs' Day, which coincides this year with the anniversary of Egypt's victory on the 10th of Ramadan. He described it as a battle of honour, where the unity of the people and the strength of the army led to triumph. The president reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to the families of martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices. "They did not just lose their sons; they gave their most precious for the homeland," he said, vowing that Egypt will always stand by them. He also praised the Armed Forces as the nation's shield and sword, standing firm against any threats.
