Egypt's stock exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday, with the main index, EGX30 inching up by 0.59 per cent, to 31,130.68 points. The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.82 to 3,323.56 points. The SMEs index, EGX70 increased by 0.86 to 8,623.19 points. The index, EGX100 index hiked by 0.97 per cent, to 11,983.17 points. The total market capitalisation reached 2,289,269,021,053 Egyptian pounds. Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 40,247,013 Egyptian pounds, and 13,514,452 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 53,761,465 Egyptian pounds. Top gainers 1. Shares of International Agricultural Products (IFAP.CA) soared by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 11.040 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Universal For Paper and Packaging Materials (Unipack) (UNIP.CA) climbed by 19.90 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.741 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of Asek Company for Mining – Ascom (ASCM.CA) jumped by 17.95 per cent, to the purchasing price of 39.300 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers 1. Shares of South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries (SCFM.CA) dived by 15.19 per cent, to close at 98.050 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Rights Issue Of Beltone Holding -4 sank by 12.33 per cent, to close at 0.128 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
