Egypt's MSMEDA celebrates women entrepreneurs

Egypt's Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) marked International Women's Day with its Aziza event, celebrating female entrepreneurs and reaffirming its commitment to women's economic empowerment.
MSMEDA CEO Basel Rahmi stressed that Egyptian women are key partners in economic development, highlighting the agency's efforts to support them through financial and technical services.
Rahmi reaffirmed MSMEDA's commitment to financing women-led businesses, ensuring access to funding, training, and marketing opportunities. The event also introduced entrepreneurs to export strategies and marketing platforms at the Grand Egyptian Museum and Cairo International Airport under agreements signed during Torathna 2024.
Notably, MSMEDA's Aziza initiative, launched last year, provides accessible financing and business support to help women develop or start enterprises across Egypt.
