Pro-Morsi Protesters In Cairo To March To Republican Guards And National Security Council Sites
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 15 - 07 - 2013

Supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi, who have been holding a sit-in at north Cairo's Rabaa Al-Adawiya Mosque since 28 June, announced that they would hold two marches on Sunday night.
One will head to the headquarters of the National Security Council and another to the Republican Guard headquarters.
Both venues are located in Cairo's Nasr City, as is Rabaa Al-Adawiya.
The protesters at the sit-in are demanding that Morsi, who is currently in the custody of the Egyptian military at an unknown location, be reinstated.
Earlier on Sunday evening two military helicopters reportedly dropped leaflets on protesters, urging them to leave for their own safety.
Last Monday, over 51 people, mainly Morsi supporters, were killed in clashes with military forces following a protest at the Republican Guard headquarters in Cairo. The armed forces accused Morsi supporters of attacking the building, while the Brotherhood says protesters had been peaceful.
Similar rallies in support of Morsi took place in a number of governorates on Sunday, including Suez, Sharqiya, Alexandria, and Kafr El-Sheikh, where protesters were attacked.
According to Ahram's Arabic news website at least 20 were injured in the Nile Delta governorate after a pro-Morsi march was attacked by unknown assailants carrying bladed weapons.
Minor scuffles also took place between supporters and opponents of the former Islamist president in Gharbiya's Mahalla.
