The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) signed a $1.2 billion financing agreement with Pakistan to support oil derivative imports. The funding, part of Saudi Arabia's $6.7 billion oil support since 2019, aims to strengthen Pakistan's economy. Additionally, both sides signed a $41 million development loan to supply drinking water to Mansehra, benefiting 150,000 people through a 400-km pipeline and a 21,000-cubic-metre-per-day treatment plant. The agreements underscore Saudi Arabia's commitment to Pakistan's economic stability and development cooperation. Attribution: Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Subediting: M. S. Salama
