The QWERTY Man is a fun, creative, and adventurous character which is in-line with our daring and creative Asha QWERTY Family."
Nokia are announcing the launch of their new QWERTY campaign in Egypt to celebrate the launch of the Nokia Asha QWERTY Family. This is a bold portfolio of innovative devices, services and accessories, including three new mobile phones which feature stylish design, a rich social experience and location-aware technology. The Nokia Asha range, Nokia Asha 303, Nokia Asha 302 and Nokia Asha 200, clearly blurs the line between smartphones and feature phones, offering QWERTY and touch screen experiences, combined with fast and easy access to the Internet, integrated social networking, messaging and world-class applications from the Nokia Store.
“DOOS Ma3 QWERTY" is a ground-breaking marketing campaign that utilizes Facebook for consumers to send their challenges to the QWERTY man after which they will be filmed and posted on the page. Fans can post their challenges for the QWERTY Man either by typing it down, uploading a picture or a video.
QWERTY is one of the fastest growing categories, fueled largely by the youth segment. It has moved from being the corporate email tool, to a fun phone to stay connected with friends. The main feature in Nokia's new QWERTY phones is the ease and speed of typing to stay in touch with friends, respond quickly, and make new friends. The new line of Nokia is targeting “social game players" with high social engagement enjoying being a constant contact and finding new people. The purpose of the new Nokia QWERTY phones is a social symbol or tool for social networking.
