Turkey's Producer Price Index for Agricultural Products (Agriculture-PPI) increased by 32.10 per cent year-over-year in August 2024, while declining by 1.56 per cent from the previous month. The index rose by 17.92 per cent compared to December 2023 and by 55.84 per cent on a twelve-month moving average basis. Sector-wise, agriculture and related services fell by 1.75 per cent, and forestry products decreased by 5.46 per cent, while fish and aquaculture products rose by 9.39 per cent. Monthly changes showed non-perennial crops dropping by 9.31 per cent, perennial crops up by 6.03 per cent, and live animals and animal products increasing by 0.19 per cent.
