Bank of Russia sells yuan valued at $83.3m

The Bank of Russia sold 7.4 billion roubles ($83.3 million) worth of yuan on the domestic market on August 14, 2024, according to data released by the regulator.
This follows a similar operation on August 13, where the bank sold 7.3 billion roubles worth of yuan.
These transactions are part of a series of purchase and sale operations conducted in the yuan-rouble segment of the Moscow Exchange, scheduled to run from August 7 to September 5, 2024.
