Egypt is the 24th most resilient country in dealing with COVID in December

Egypt has landed the 24th spot in the COVID resilience ranking issued by Bloomberg in December, moving up one position from its November's 25th ranking.
The ranking scores global economies valued at more than $200 billion according to 10 metrics, including virus growth, overall mortality rate, testing capabilities, capacity of the local healthcare system, the impact of virus-related restrictions on economy, and freedom of movement.
Egypt scored 57.1, followed by Saudi Arabia with 56.8, while the UAE landed the 16th position with a score of 65.6.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health reported 718 new coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 126,273 with 107,162 recoveries and 7,130 deaths.
