Credit Agricole Egypt posted net profits of 1.03 billion Egyptian pounds during the first nine months of 2020, down by 44.3 percent year-on-year (YoY) from 1.86 billion pounds in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders' rights. The bank's net interest income retreated to 2.15 billion n pounds in the January-September period from 2.36 billion n pounds in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a statement. Meanwhile, the lender's standalone net profits slid to 1.03 billion n pounds in the nine-month period ended 30 September from 1.86 billion n pounds in the year-ago period.
