Gold prices in Egypt hike by EGP 12 per gram, 21-carat gold at EGP872

Gold prices in Egypt today jumped by 12 Egyptian pounds ($0.90) per gram; the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, rose to around 872 Egyptian pounds as global gold prices rose
Global Gold prices rose on Monday as the dollar eased, rebounding from initial declines following a steep drop in the previous week.
The one gram of of 24-carat gold registered EGP 996.55, a new record high, said Ehab Wassef, the deputy head of the gold division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce said.
