A security source has told Al-Masry Al-Youm important information about the blast that hit El-Hussein. The source said that an eyewitness said that the perpetrators of the crime are three persons, one of them is called "Marawan" and the other is called "Nasser", in addition to a taxi driver. She added that she pursued them till they reached a house in Helmayat al-Zatoun district. The eyewitness said she went to El-Hussein with her children to take some photos and saw someone throwing a plastic bag from the balcony of the hotel overlooking the square. The bag was picked up by another person, who was waiting in front of the hotel. The latter put the bag down a stone seat and the blast took place after moments.
After that, the two persons hurried to a taxi in Al-Azhar St. that had a third person with a black beard, in addition to the driver. Then, the taxi took off quickly.
She pursued them till they reached an old house in Helmayat al-Zatoun district. She added that she asked a shop owner in the lower storey of the old house about the names of the two perpetrators. The shopkeeper said one of them is called "Marawan" and the other is called "Nasser". She added that she thought to photograph them, but she feared that they may see her. At the same time, technicians in the Ministry of Interior started to paint a picture for one of the perpetrators through the descriptions made by eyewitnesses, who unanimously agreed that he is a tall and dark-skinned man with a wispy beard.
The sources said the perpetrators may have sought the help of a number of fireworks' manufacturers and dealers in Izbat Abu Hashish and Manshayt Nasser districts after bomb experts revealed that the bomb was made of black gunpowder that is used in making fireworks that are sold on feasts.
