Some representatives of political forces and parties agreed to coordinate their actions and set out a work plan in the near future to push ahead with political and democratic reforms, fight corruption and face the regime, said the President of the Democratic Front Party Osama el-Ghazzali Harb. Al-Masry Al-Youm has learnt that the meeting was held on Saturday at the headquarters of the Democratic Front Party and was also attended by Al-Wafd, al-Tagammu and al-Ghad parties, the Nasserists, the Muslim Brotherhood [MB], the Kefaya movement and representatives of bloggers. Dr. Osama el-Ghazzali Harb affirmed that the attendees had agreed to put aside their differences and close up their ranks to work together. He then added that they would discuss the differences between the political trends and the MB. Finally, he pointed out that the participants had attended the meeting in their personal capacities while reflecting the stance of the political parties they belong to. Dr. Essam el-Aryan refused to talk about the meeting, saying: "Dr. Osama is responsible for the statements to the media". The assistant secretary of the Kefaya movement George Isaac said: "The meeting has been held after contacts were made among several activists. We thought together of how to face the regime and we talked about how to be ready for the next elections." "Everyone has the right to join this initiative and our meeting served the national coalition for change" he added. El-Tagammu Party leading figure Aboul Ezz el-Hariri said the meeting would pave the way for a national convention on change to discuss the differences among political forces and find common ground for political action.
