Cairo - President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi stressed the importance of "coexistence between the different human groups," on the sidelines of his state visit to Kigali, capital of Rwanda which started on Tuesday. El-Sisi arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, on Tuesday where he was received by the Rwandan President Paul Kagame and senior Rwandan officials, and was accorded an official reception. El-Sisi stressed the need for "cooperation, dialogue and peace as a common language among nations," hoping that such horrific acts would not recur and that peace would prevail all around the world, Presidential Spokesperson Alaa Yousef said. El-Sisi's tour of Africa, which started on Monday will last for four days, and is set to include Tanzania, Rwanda, Gabon and Chad. During this new trip, Sisi will meet with the heads of state and top officials of the four African countries. He will also preside over several bilateral meetings, in affirmation of the strong ties of partnership that are gaining momentum between Egypt and other African countries. The present tour clearly shows Egypt's determination to bolster ties with African countries facing major development challenges amid regional and international economic and political turmoil.
