Cairo - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry conferred by phone on Friday with his British counterpart Boris Johnson on a set of issues topped by the latest developments in the Middle East region, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said. The two ministers agreed on continuing consultations in the coming phase. Talks covered the latest developments in Libya, Syria, efforts to combat terrorism as well as the Qatari crisis. They also agreed on following up a set of files pertaining to bilateral relations and voiced resolve to push forward cooperation for the best interests of the two countries.
