Cairo - Masked gunmen shot at two busloads of Coptic Christians heading to St. Samuel Monastery in Minya, in a terrorist attack that left 24 martyrs and the injury of 27 others. All children in the bus have been killed except three. The bus was heading to the monastery for a trip from Beni Suef to Minya, Watanit newspaper reported. After the incident, the terrorists spread fliers on cars reading, "An acceptable fast and forgiven sins," referring to the holy month of Ramadan, when Muslims pray that their fasting is accepted and their sins forgiven. Ramadan is scheduled to begin early Saturday dawn, May 27, 2017.
