Abu Dhabi - Abu Dhabi TV channel broadcast the first part of the ‘Passageways of Darkness' series. Over the course of four episodes, the documentary unveils all the details related to the secretive Muslim Brotherhood organization in the UAE. The documentary also presents indisputable evidence, recordings, and exclusive confessions about the crimes committed by the organization in the UAE, as well as its future plans. Author Mohamed El Hammadi says, ‘The arrest of this group came as a great shock for the people of Emirates who discovered that some citizens were conspiring against the country.' Hammadi adds that the story of the Brotherhood started 80 years ago and the recording of Hassan El Banna featured at the end of the episode shows how often he used to entice youth to resort to violence to reach their aim and prove their devotion to the philosophy of the organization. 'Passageways of Darkness' highlights the beginnings of the Brotherhood by saying: The Muslim Brotherhood organization was founded by Hassan El Banna in 1928. He became the Brotherhood's first Supreme Guide who managed to convince his followers that the state has strayed from the teachings of early Islam centuries ago, and that God has commissioned him to restore these Islamic teachings once more. Preacher Wassim Youssef says that Hassan El Banna used to manipulate the concept of restoring the Caliphate Empire to reach his aim, and even elected himself as the Caliph of all Muslims. However, the concept of the Caliphate is only an excuse that El Banna used to reach power. That is how the Muslim Brotherhood started their operations. They said they aim at reforming society and divided it into two groups; the first group is Muslim Brotherhood members who are faithful and devoted as they claim, while the second group, which consist of the rest of the Muslims, are the infidels. Academic and media person Dr. Rashed El Noemi says; The Muslim Brotherhood insult and degrade the leaders of every country they exist in. To them, their members are the only ones worthy of being called honorable for they are the only ones working towards establishing the Caliphate. Researcher Ateek El Mansoury confirms that an Asian Brotherhood member is closer to a Brotherhood citizen than another fellow citizen. 'Passageways of Darkness' continues by quoting an extract from a book: "We bluntly announce that any Muslim who does not believe in our philosophy is not really a Muslim and he had better look for another religion to believe in". The documentary also shows how during this period, Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt called for bearing arms in preparation for fighting those who do not respond to their ideology.
