Cairo - The Grand Imam of Al Azhar Sheikh Ahmed El -Tayeb hosted Mr. Arman Issagaliyev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Egypt. The Grand Imam welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his mission in Egypt. He assured him that the Al-Azhar institute is adamant on spreading the true moderate teachings of Islam and assuring the message of peace that is brought by all religions. On his part, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan thanked the Grand Imam on the effort he exerts in favor of the Islamic work. He also expressed his gratitude to the Al-Azhar Institute for its educational and religious support of Kazakhstan assuring that the Al-Azhar with its moderate peaceful teachings and its efforts to counter radical thinking is the reference of every Muslim in the Muslim world. Mr. Issagaliyev also praised the efforts of Al- Azhar in the area of promoting dialogue between religions as well as the good relations between Al-Azhar and his country as well as the continued and constant cooperation and communication with officials in the Al- Azhar.
