Cairo - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, on Tuesday, received the Japanese Prime Minister's Special Adviser, Katsuyuk Kawai. The meeting dealt with ways to boost bilateral relations, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement following the meeting. Shoukry hailed the positive cooperation between the two countries since a successful visit was paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Japan in February 2016, the spokesman added. The minister affirmed Egypt's keenness on boosting trade exchange between the two countries, and attracting more Japanese investments into Egypt. The meeting also covered regional and international issues of common concern.
