Egypt and Eritrea seek cooperation in aquaculture

Asmara - A delegation from the national company for fisheries and aquaculture wrapped up a visit to Eritrea.
The delegation met with Eritrea's President Isaias Afwerki, his economic adviser, ministers, and other officials, Egypt's ambassador to Eritrea Yasser Hashem said.
The visit aims at achieving food security for the Egyptians, and supporting Eritrea in its sustainable development goals.
The two sides discussed putting into effect a protocol on cooperation in the field of fisheries that was signed between the two countries in Cairo on March 2017.
