Cairo - Al Azhar has strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a local market in the Somali capital of Mogadishu that killed at least 30 people and injured over 40 others. Such heinous crimes have nothing to do with religions, Al Azhar said in a statement. Al Azhar reiterated its call for Arab, Islamic, and international solidarity to confront terrorism. The statement conveyed condolences to the families of the dead and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
