Al Azhar religious institution strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on a hotel in Mali's capital Bamako that killed at least 37 people and wounded seven, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. Al Azhar said in a statement that those heinous attacks against innocent people do not relate to Islam, calling on the international community to confront terrorist groups that threaten world stability and security. The Egyptian religious institution offered its condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured people a speedy recovery.
