Al Azhar strongly condemned Saturday Somalia's Al Shabab terrorist attack on Garissa University in Kenya that killed nearly 150 people. The Egyptian religious institution offered its condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured people speedy recovery. Al Shabab is a jihadist terrorist group formed in 2006 and based in Somalia. In 2012, the group pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
