Cairo – An Egyptian party called on secular political parties and civil movements to densify its efforts outside central areas to reach out to citizens and protect them from being an easy subject to extremist entities and terrorist propaganda. Retired General 'Muhammad Ghobashi', Vice President of Egyptian ‘Homat Al Watan', (Protectors of Homeland) party, emphasized that rumours are a part of the Fourth-generation warfare (4GW). In a statement, he considered it the main causes of suspicion, loss of concentration and implanting sedition using social media, as well as the misleading information that leave Egyptian families frustrated. He asserted on the necessity of the parties' strong presence especially in villages to counter and monitor activities carried out by terroristic Muslim Brotherhood outlawed group in such regions, such activities that are designed to youth.
