Heads of political parties in Egypt condemned Tuesday the terrorist attack in front of the Supreme Court in downtown Cairo, which left two dead and 10 injured, including 7 policemen. Spokesman for the Homat Al Watan party, Fouad Arafa said the party's head Galal Al Haridy and members condemned the terrorist attack. He stressed on the fact that terrorism will not succeed in intimidating the Egyptian people and will not impact Egypt's stability or security. "The country will continue to build upon its road map for a better future", he added. Spokesman for Sadat's Democratic Party, Mohammed Attia also condemned the attack and accused the Hamas terrorist movement of sponsoring terrorism in Egypt. The attack came a few days after the designation of Hamas as a terrorist group by the Egyptian judiciary, he explained. Attia advised against reconciliation with Hamas, stating: "the movement's hands are stained with the blood of the Egyptian people and if the country is to progress and move forward, it mustn't accept reconciliation". He called for a quick implementation of the court's verdicts against the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group, "to be a lesson to anyone who tries to threaten the the Egyptians' security", he said.
