Cairo - Abdel Rehim Ali, the press writer, Chairman of Board and Editor-in-chief of Al-Bawaba News Portal, said that Hamas movement (a Palestinian Sunni-Islamic fundamentalist group) entered its elements to Egypt and carried out the ‘Saints Church' explosion. The ‘Saints Church' bombing, or 2011 Alexandria bombing, was an attack on Coptic Christians in Alexandria, Egypt, on Saturday, January 01st 2011. Twenty-three people died as a result of the attack, which occurred as Christian worshipers were leaving a new year service. Some 97 more were injured. A day after the explosion, a rumor was circulated that Habib Al-Adly, the Minister of Interior at that time, was the one who exploded the church. This, according to Ali, caused the Christians of Egypt to revolt against the Ministry of Interior.
