Cairo, alBawaba - Member of the Shoura Council of the Islamic group 'Abbud al-Zumar' condemned Sunday the terrorist attack that took place early morning today Sunday at main Coptic Christian cathedral in Abbasiya district, Cairo, leaving dozens dead and others injured. He said in a statement: "The idea of targeting places of worship is a satanic and malicious idea that aims to undermine the cohesion of the Egyptian society. What happened today regarding the bombing, which occurred in the vicinity of the church in Abbasiya in which dozens of citizens died, is criminal and repulsive act." The terrorist attack left 25 dead and 49 others wounded، according to the Ministry of Health. Security forces have intensified their presence and measures near various churches of Alexandria، in light of the bombing of El Botroseya church.
