Matrouh governorate security director, Major General Hesham Lotfy announced Thursday that Salloum Border Crossing received 370 Egyptian returnees from Libya over the past 24 hours, Youm7 News reported. Lotfy added that 269 people entered the country legally and 101 people entered illegally. He pointed out that Salloum Border Crossing received 194,634 Egyptian returnees from Libya following the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Islamic State jihadist groups militants in February 2015. Lotfy added that 690 people entered Libya through Salloum Border Crossing over the past 24 hours including 188 Egyptians and 502 Libyans.
