Matrouh governorate security director, Major General Hesham Lotfy announced Friday that Salloum Border Crossing received 465 Egyptian returnees from Libya over the past 24 hours, Youm7 News reported. Lotfy added that 375 people entered the country legally and 80 people entered illegally. The border crossing received 162 thousand and 638 Egyptian returnees from Libya following the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Islamic State jihadist groups militants in February 2015, he added. Lotfy pointed out that 660 people entered Libya through Salloum Border Crossing including 272 Egyptians and 388 Libyans.
